Brandon diLorenzo

Brandon diLorenzo is a Colorado-based percussion educator and performer with over 8 years of marching arts experience and multiple years of instructional experience throughout the state. He is currently serving as Battery Caption Head for Rise Percussion and has been on staff with the organization since 2024.

Brandon’s marching experience includes Rise Percussion (2019–2020), Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps (2019), and Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps (2020). He has also performed with the Denver Nuggets Skyline Drumline and Colorado Avalanche Celly Squad since 2022. As an educator, Brandon has served as Bass Technician for Rise Percussion (2024–2025) and was named Battery Caption Head beginning in 2026. He has also been a member of the instructional staff at his alma mater, the University of Colorado, drumline since 2024, serving as Bass Technician before stepping into the role of Drumline Supervisor in 2026.

Outside of the marching arts, Brandon holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Space Weather and Atmospheric Sciences. His research focuses on atmospheric modeling and space weather forecasting, where he works to improve scientific understanding of Earth’s upper atmosphere. Brandon is passionate about developing technically strong, confident performers while fostering a positive and disciplined learning environment. He is excited to continue helping the next generation of percussionists achieve their goals both on and off the floor.
