Steve Wixom

Steve Wixom is a music educator based in the northern Denver area and has been teaching in and around the area for over 10 years. He has taught at several high schools throughout the

region. Some notable groups have been Air Academy HS, Legacy HS, and Fairview HS.

Currently, Steve is on the educational staff at Fairview HS and acts as the sound engineer for Dakota Ridge HS. He is also a full time band director in Longmont, CO where he teaches students from 6th to 12th grade and designs and executes sound and lighting design as the technical director at Twin Peaks Classical Academy. Outside of teaching, Steve enjoys performing in various types of ensembles around the area, working on new musical arrangements, and spending time reading with a good cup of coffee.
